Q:  How do I book a session?

A:  Simply call or email to check availability. For boudoir, pin up, and senior portraits, a consultation is required and can be done in person or over the phone. Consultations for other sessions are recommended. When you book your session, a non-refundable retainer will secure your date and time. The retainer for all portrait sessions is $100-$150 and will be applied to your package total.


Q:  What are your office hours? 

A:  Generally, 10am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Due to shooting schedules, office hours may vary. All sessions, consultations, and office visits are by appointment only. Right now, most shoots are scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays.


Q:  How long are your sessions?                                                                     

A:  Each session is unique. For most portrait sessions, thirty minutes to an hour is the average. Boudoir, Glamour, and Pin Up sessions are about 1-2 hours of shooting time which does not include time for hair and makeup or same day proofing. Senior sessions are up to two hours.


Q:  Where do your sessions take place?                                                        

A:  Our studio is located in Herrin, Illinois. We are also equipped to go on location anywhere you'd like to go! We have some favorite spots and are always open to shooting somewhere that's special to you. Travel fees may apply.


Q:  What if I'm late for a session?                                                                   

A:  The clock starts at your session time; if you are late you have simply missed part of your session. If your shoot can not be completed as planned, you must book additional time, schedule permitting.


Q:  What if I have an emergency and can’t make my session. Can I reschedule?

A:  We understand that life often has its bumps. As a courtesy, our policy is to allow for a single reschedule. However, if you need to move your appointment more than once, another retainer may be required.


Q:  What forms of payment do you take?                                                      

A:  Cash, Check, and Credit Cards. We also offer payment plans for some orders.  Please ask for more information.


Q:  How long until my portraits are ready?                                                  

A:  Usually about one to two weeks to see portrait proofs. Some boudoir packages include same day proofing. Same day proofing may be available for other sessions by request and if the schedule allows. Once you place your order, you can expect to receive them in four to six weeks. Albums may take up to six to ten weeks.  We make every effort to get your packages delivered as quickly as possible. If you need your images for a special occasion, please book at least one month in advance and let us know about your personal deadline.


Q:  Will my images end up on Facebook?                                                     

A:  Possibly. We share our favorite images as much as we can. If one of your images is on our page, you are welcomed to share it digitally, unaltered, and with the logo visible. For sessions of a more private nature such as boudoir and pin up, we do not share your images anywhere unless we have your expressed consent.


Q:  Your prices are not what I was expecting. Can you explain what I am paying for exactly?

A:  We understand that you have a choice when shopping for photographers. While the process of capturing an image may seem effortless, a great deal goes into each finished product or package. We use and maintain quality equipment, backdrops, software, and printing services. We routinely make every effort to stay abreast of new technologies, techniques, and software advancements. We spend hours editing images, designing albums or specialty products, and preparing your package for delivery. All of these activities are considered when carefully determining our prices.
